Susan Rotholz

Susan Rotholz, flutist, winner of  Young Concert Artists with Hexagon and as soloist with Concert Artists Guild is Principal Flute of the Greenwich Symphony Orchestra, The New York Pops, the New York Chamber Ensemble and member of the Orchestra of St. Luke’s.  Susan is co-founder of the Sherman Chamber Ensemble, Rodeph Sholom and Cape May Music Festivals. 

Susan recorded the complete Bach Flute Sonatas and the Solo Partita with Kenneth Cooper and American Tapestry: Duos for Flute and Piano with Margaret Kampmeier both on Bridge Records. The recordings are described as “eloquent and musically persuasive, and irresistible in both music and performance.”

Susan is on the faculty at Vassar College, Columbia University and the Aaron Copland School of Music.
